“ This is an excellent old-time neighborhood tavern -- well run, with superb service (we love our regular server, Colleen) and classic food. We go here every Tuesday night after a rehearsal. We call ahead so they always have our table ready for us in their upper dining room. Colleen remembers our usual drinks, and for those of us who often get the same food, she remembers that, too. She's amazing, friendly, and always seems to glad to have us there! My favorites are the chicken fingers, and the grilled cheese with ham. Both come with tots, fries, or slaw. Prices range from about $9 for the chicken fingers to about $12 for the grilled cheese. We also do a little singing (we come after an a cappella chorus rehearsal and are all singers, and bring "tag" books with us), and love it when other patrons come upstairs to listen and comment. ”
